Vision, BlackOut, TeamOne and Ange's Big Toe are the first four teams confirmed in the IEM Chicago North America closed qualifier.

A total of sixteen teams squared off in the single-elimination bracket, where the initial matches began with a best-of-one, while the decider matches were played in a best-of-three series.

The first team out of the four to advance had a rather easy route, as Vision eased Living Like Larry 16-6 before being handed the victory in the last match on a Velocity forfeit.

A three-map series then determined the second team to earn their way through, with BlackOut winning eight straight rounds to close things out on Inferno over RESOLUTE.

The final two slots came with sweeping victories from TeamOne and Ange's Big Toe. The Brazilians' series was a complete blowout over Grizzlys, who only won five rounds across Inferno and Cache, while the North American side shutout iNTACT.

With the first four teams now confirmed, four more remain to be determined through invites to the eight-team closed qualifier, which is set to start August 23-25, with one slot up for grabs to the $250,000 event at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
